Here are what the attributes provide:
EGO – It is related to your Overdrive skill. In your “Skills” window, there are specific Overdrive skills that you can invest in.
STR – It is related to your physical attack and the amount of weight you can carry in your inventory.
INT – It is related to the amount of your SP(mana) and it also ties into your resistance to elements.
DEX – It is related to your Agility and your Evasion.
VIT – It is related to the amount of your HP(health).
